2019 began with a fantastically successful UK airing of LUTHER series 5, prior to it’s US air date later this year.

The award winning THE INHERITANCE; Paul’s score providing a pivotal emotional strand, was rapturously received on it’s West End outing by critics and audience alike. The soundtrack album is available on all platforms now.

Paul is currently scoring a new US TV mini series, QUEENS OF MYSTERY to be streamed in 2019.  He has recently been commissioned by BIRMINGHAM ROYAL BALLET for a new work with Brazilian-born choreographer Daniela Cardim. Work will begin in April

October 2018 THE INHERITANCE opened on the WEST END at the NOEL COWARD THEATRE after it’s fantastically received run at the Young Vic. The Score for LUTHER series 5 completed. Paul was asked to arrange one of his songs especially for PRINCE CHARLES’ 70th Birthday celebrations at Buckingham Palace, to be sung by soprano REBECCA EVANS. A new Ballet Commission for Birmingham Royal Ballet to be written in 2019. Paul Will conduct his Ballet PINOCCHIO at Texas Ballet Theatre in spring 2019, a new 3 part TV commission shortly to be announced for a 2019 release.

April 22, 2018

2018 so far has been a great year for music making. Paul scored the massive hit THE INHERITANCE at the Young Vic which is currently running until 19th May 2018. THE MODERATE SOPRANO by David Hare at The Duke of York's Theatre in the West End.

Paul is currently scoring Season V of LUTHER and writing  a musical version of Zadie Smith's WHITE TEETH at the newly relaunched KILN THEATRE

2017 was another great year for music making, including the World Premiere of Paul’s full length ballet PINOCCHIO in Toronto, for the National Ballet of Canada, and an Ivor Novello Award nomination for his dark, brooding score for THE WITNESS FOR THE PROSECUTION.

Paul’s music helped garner lavish praise for the BBC’s adaptation of Evelyn Waugh’s DECLINE AND FALL, shown in the spring: a lush orchestral score, leaping from anarchic comedy to romance and jeopardy. Paul also composed the music for two World Premiere theatre productions: Deborah Bruce’s new play THE HOUSE THEY GREW UP IN for the Chichester Festival, directed by...

The new BBC1 adaptation of Decline and Fall starts 9pm Friday 31st Marchin the first ever screen adaptation of Evelyn Waugh’s comedy classic with Jack Whitehall as Paul Pennyfeather and Eva Longoria as Margot Beste-Chetwynde.
